iPhone:Unlimited Online Maps

Unlimited Online topographic mapping is now available for the following countries.
- USA
- Canada
They are included with the USA app edition of ViewRanger or can be purchased as a separate item in-app in other editions.
Once purchased, these maps can also be viewed and used online for trip planning at My.ViewRanger.com
These map layers are streamed from the Internet but can be saved for offline usage, using the new Create Saved Map option.

Activating the Unlimited Online Maps
NOTE: The US app edition already has the US map online layers activated and does not require activation, so skip this section.
First you need to make an in-app purchase of the Unlimited map for the required country using Organizer 
ViewRanger Store. The map will then activate automatically.
NOTE: If you have received a serial number it needs to be activated at My.ViewRanger.com
Viewing maps
Go to Organizer Maps > Online maps. Let the list update, then select the unlimited USA or Canada map from the list.
This will start to stream the map layer from the Internet.
Create saved map
Online maps can now be saved as user defined areas at the required zoom layer levels. Once created, they can be accessed from the My saved maps.
To activate map selection, choose the Create saved map option from the Menu 
.
The grid will enable you to choose single tiles or multiple tiles by dragging an area on the screen. Once you are satisfied with the selection then press the green-tick button. This will download and save the map area for later off line use.

Altitude Data
Altitude data can be downloaded within the Organizer ViewRanger store.
Enables route and track statics and graphs.
For example Organizer Tracks tap a track and select Details to view the altitude data from the altitude files you have downloads.
