With the release of ViewRanger software version 1.1.0 the Apple iPad is now fully supported.
Apart from changes behind the scenes, and the fact that maps are displayed correctly on the large iPad screen, the main difference is the split screen.
The split screen is particularly helpful when viewing route details.
